Jamesburg Board of Education – Addition & Alterations at John F. Kennedy School

This project consists of the construction of a 31,500 sq. ft 3-Story Pre-K addition to the existing John F. Kennedy Elementary School. The lower level of the addition will remain partially unexcavated with storage and utility spaces. The main level will house with eight (8) Pre-K Classrooms and Administration spaces. The upper level will be an open, unfinished core/shell space. In addition to the new facility, alterations will take place to the existing modular roof adjacent to the new addition and the site work will include modifications to the areas around the addition. Beyond the base scope of the project, all ten (10) alternates were accepted, which include a new parent drop-of area, a new emergency access drive, a light-weight concrete roof system, and more. This project is valued at $14,700,000.00.
